Text Communication Policy

Field Health Advocacy offers text messaging as a convenience to support communication related to scheduling, care coordination, and administrative matters for existing clients. Text messaging is not intended for new service requests, clinical guidance, urgent concerns, or emergencies, and is not continuously monitored.

Appropriate Use of Text Messaging

Text messaging may be used for appointment coordination, scheduling updates, reminders, logistical questions, and general communication related to active services.

New Inquiries and Prospective Clients

Individuals who are not yet clients must schedule a consultation through the website. Text messages from individuals who have not established services may not receive a response and do not create a service relationship.

No Medical Advice or Clinical Services

Text messaging is not a substitute for medical care. Field Health Advocacy does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making through text communication.

Urgent or Emergency Situations

Do not use text messaging for urgent or time-sensitive matters. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical care.

Response Expectation

Responses are provided during normal business operations and may not be immediate. Message delivery and response timing cannot be guaranteed.

Consent to Receive Communications

By providing your mobile number or initiating communication, you consent to receive text messages related to scheduling, coordination, and services. Consent is not a condition of purchasing services.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on service needs and communication requirements.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP or by notifying Field Health Advocacy directly. After opting out, alternative communication methods will be used where appropriate.

Privacy and Security

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information; however, text messaging may not be fully secure. Avoid transmitting highly sensitive or confidential information via text unless necessary for coordination purposes.

Professional Relationship Boundaries

Text communication supports existing service relationships only and does not establish a client relationship, replace formal consultation, or expand scope of services beyond agreed engagement.

Record Retention

Text communications may be retained as part of service documentation and quality assurance.

Carrier and Compliance Notice

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging services are provided in accordance with applicable communication regulations and industry standards.

Changes to This Policy

Field Health Advocacy may update this policy periodically. Continued use of text messaging constitutes acceptance of any updates.
